How to Improve Your FPS in Rust

Low FPS doesn't just look bad — in Rust specifically, it can cost you every fight you're in. Here's where to start fixing it.

If you play with low FPS in Rust, you will lose fights you should otherwise win — smooth frame rate isn't a cosmetic nicety in this game, it directly affects your ability to track and hit targets, and Rust is demanding enough that even a fairly capable PC can struggle without some tuning.

Know Your Baseline

Graphics Settings Worth Checking First
