Rust's day/night cycle isn't just a visual change — it meaningfully shifts the risk and opportunity balance for almost everything you do, and knowing when night favors you (or doesn't) is a real strategic consideration.

Night makes it harder to spot other players at a distance — which can work in your favor if you're trying to move unseen, but also means threats can get closer before you notice them. It's a tradeoff, not a pure advantage either direction.
